I started going to Achieve Chiropractic right after I got injured at New Balance Indoor Nationals in March 2011, and since then Dr. Eric and myself worked as a team to get me back on the track as fast as possible. Three months later, I competed in the AA State Track and Field Outdoor Championships, and won the 200m, 400m, and 4x400 relay, which were all run in record breaking times. I have Plantar Fasciitis and with the help of Dr. Eric, I keep it under control where it does not affect my running competitively. And now I am part of Virginia Commonwealth University's Track and Field team. Accomplishments: It’s hard to say what my favorite track accomplishment is so far, but if I had to decide it would be winning five state titles (2 indoor titles, and 3 outdoor titles) my senior year of high school. The close second track accomplishment of mine would have to be winning AAU Junior Olympics Young Women 4x400 relay again for the second year in a row this past August. What made it so special was not that we won back to back championships but that we broke the national record with a time of 3:40.43 Kiara, Daily Press Athlete of the Year 2011 |

"Thanks, Dr. Eric, for what you do. I used to have frequent, awful headaches and low back pain that would keep me from doing things for days. Since getting my spine aligned properly those problems are just about gone and I feel so much better. Dr. Eric is truly professional and really cares about each of his patients. Just walking into the office gives you a feeling of confidence and you know you're going to feel better when he's done. I know I sure do. So, thank you again, Dr. Eric for "keeping my spine aligned and my head on straight!" Carolyn |

"I came to Achieve Chiropractic to see Dr. M with upper and lower back pain and also neck pain. I had been experiencing this pain for quite some time. I'd been seen by another chiropractor in years past but my symptoms kept coming back. Dr. M figured out that I had some muscle problems in my upper back and some hip problems which was causing my pain. After a few treatments with Dr. M, my symptoms began to subside. He gave me a specific diagnosis with instructions on how to keep the pain from returning." Angela |

"Before I moved back home to Hampton in 2002, I visited two seperate chiropractor's in the western part of where I lived for 19 years. I have reoccuring back pain from the old football days. Dr. Eric is by far the best chiropractor I have visited for several reasons; he takes the time to ensure that all adjustments are complete and satisfactory and always displays the knowledge to positively identify physical elements and my muscles pain(s). I have recommended Dr. Eric to many of my co-workers and will continue to do so. I'm very well pleased with his professional approach and the ability to help me with my back issues." Bruce |

Throughout my collegiate career I have been struck with injuries from head to toe both literary and figuratively speaking. With the most reoccurring injury being in my hamstring/groin area. This past summer right before the kickoff of my European circuit believe or not I was set back with yet another hamstring/groin injury. My initial thought was that I was only gonna be out for 2 weeks at the most, but two weeks passed then four weeks. At this point I was starting to get nervous. My training partner partner Dominic Berger told me to go see his chiropractor and that he will be able to get me back right. My first thought was chiropractor = solution to back problems; boy was I wrong. Dr. Eric and his staff were very helpful, and Dr. Eric himself was very knowledgeable and broke down the jargon to a level I could understand. Thanks to Dr. Eric I learned my injury was more serious than I thought, but in a matter of eight weeks approximately. I was back running and lifting weights at 100 percent. Although my season was cut short, without Dr. Eric my rehab period would have been even longer. I feel confident about this upcoming season being that I have Dr. Eric in my corner.

At the University of Maryland, I was 4-time ACC Conference Champion, ACC Record Holder (110m Hurdles), 3-time NCAA D1 All American, and 2006 NCAA Runner-up in the high hurdles. After graduating in May 2009, I decided to pursue my dream to run track professionally so I moved to Hampton Virginia to train. While training and gearing up for the 2010 indoor track season I suffered a major back injury. I could not run or jog without excruciating pain. I could not even bend over and reach my toes, my flexibility had demised. Through referral from one of my training partners, I was introduced to Dr. Eric at Achieve Chiropractor Clinic. After extensive therapy sessions I was able to return to full strength and flexibility. I have continued to seek therapy for injury prevention at Achieve Chiropractic. From my first therapy session in December 2009 to now, I have improved my person best, Ranked 7th in USA, 20th in the World, became a member of the 2011 Pan America Games Nation team, and signed an Endorsement deal with Adidas! Next goal 2012 Olympic Games! Thanks Dr. Eric! Dominic Berger Professional Track Athlete |
